I like inspirational movies. I like a great story. I like to be moved emotionally.
A great love story is good. A war movie with an inspirational story is great. I don’t watch too many movies, and I don’t like to waste two hours. What movies that fit this bill do you recommend? Share and tell us.
Here are some of my favorites of all time –
Braveheart, 42, Seven Years a Slave, Gettysburg, Schindlers List.
The Pursuit of Happyness is an amazing movie. Lends itself to what we do regarding work ethic and commitment. Very emotional.
Gone with the wind, Saving Private Ryan,
Remember The Titians
Rudy
Free Solo achievement at its best.
Harriet – Is a 2019 movie about Harriet Tubman’s escape from slavery and the amazing bravery and faith she displayed in returning time and again to the South to free many more enslaved Americans.
Cinderella Man – (2005) A great movie that is based on a true story of a depression era boxer who overcomes tremendous adversity to return to the ring and keep his family together.

I would recommend you to watch Free State of Jones and The Siege of Jadotville. Both movies can be found on Netflix.
I love “the Greatest Show on earth” it’s a love story, an action story, with a heart tugging ending. It’s also has great scenes from when the circus WAS the greatest show on earth! Great cast Charlton Heston, Jimmy Stewart, Cornel Wilde, Betty Hutton and Dorothy Lamour
Ok you should watch “A River Runs Through It” a Brad Pitt movie. The best part is at the end and what he says while fly fishing alone. You will need to listen to the ending several times .

Its a wonderful life, Dances with wolves, The Yearling, The Cowboys, Gone with the wind, The good the bad and the ugly.
I hate to cheat; not follow the rules, but I have to recommend “The Tattooist of Auschwitz”. No, it’s not a movie yet; maybe it will be someday. It’s a book that reads so well, when you’re finished you’ll swear to God it was a movie! A beautiful love story wrapped in the most challenging of circumstances.

“The Greatest Showman”
Semi-musical loosely based on the P.T. Barnum story. Leaves you feeling inspired as well as thankful for the wonderful diversity of people in your life including family and co-workers. I’ve never been much for musicals or anything close to them but was glad I took the time to watch this one. You will be too…
Rudy
Never quit. Always believe in yourself.
The upside
Founder
Not a movie but documentaries series which I love because you can learn from successful people. One is the imagineering story on Disney plus. The last dance on Netflix is Michael Jordan’s story. He was the ultimate competitor and he never quit.
