We’ve all learned that we can come together and have a meeting, without coming together. It saves travel expenses, it’s more efficient, saves time, and you have the rest of your day to do other things.
I like to Zoom!
You Zoom, right?

I zoom. I hate zoom. I miss actually being in a place, being totally focused on what is happening there, and actually talking to people. Zoom and video calls are a fair tool, but in the end they are just another degree of separation and a way to stop natural flow communication.

I agree that virtual meetings are more efficient, but I think that overall they aren’t personal or nearly as effective as an in person meeting. Not a fan of zoom meetings.

We are embracing them and are getting the wireless camera to Zoom our facility as a tour in our new conference room. We have a lot of out-of-state clients that can be here without the plane flight. It is the wave of the future and best to embrace it…I was trying to message Larry for a Zoom meeting with the team… Form not working it seems on his site..

But nothing replaces face to face!
I was reminded of this think daily when I was reading this article today on my lunch. This quote said it all about zoom and a remote culture.
“”It’s very dehumanizing,” Tetu said of companies going fully remote and getting rid of offices. “I think Slack and Zoom are great, but there is no equivalent of getting people together and fostering a common culture.”” (Tetu is the CEO of Coveo a company that makes artificial intelligence software.)
