News and Politics Weaponize our Fears

Larry Janesky: Think Daily

We have a tendency to jam everything into our pre-existing beliefs.

Fear and anger articles in the New York Times are the most shared.  And when you share, you become more radical.

Observing yourself is a key part of enlightenment.  Observe what the media and politics are doing to you.

Loosen your grip.

You are independent and sovereign.

Phillip

Very true. My life has become much happier, and free, since i stopped listening to news reports daily and cut myself off from politics (all they want is your vote so that they can spend your taxes, simply so that they can get back into power next time).
Every so often, like when I’m “trapped in a car” i will listen to the same radio/news as in the past. Every time I do this, I am appalled/disgusted/horrified by what I am “forced” to listen to. Idiots who try to tell us what they want to push into our minds.

Listen to music or one to of Larry’s fantastic bits of advice. Grow, smile, become the best person you can.

Thanks so much for this, Larry. Perfect timing with all that is going on.

A bias against a single news outlet seems to me to diminish the impact of your message

To much Politics, negativity and information overload will make you physically ill.
Save yourself and tune it out.

I love it! We can’t forget to take a look inward and see what our latest trials and tribulations have done to our programming! If we find ourselves shifting for the negative, we can course-correct before its too late!
