Ok. When I first read this I giggled. Then I laughed. Then I laughed a little harder. But there is a reason for this post and it is not just to get a good laugh this morning. My takeaway is this….. Look at yourself. No make up. No hiding. No clothes to cover the scars. Strictly being raw and honest. Truthful with ourselves. Accepting of who we are. Being proud of every flaw and knowing that we are perfect just as we are. If we are not happy with ourselves, we cannot expect others to be happy with us or around us. I know for me, every scar has a memory. Each one gives me strength knowing I made it through some very difficult times. It makes me proud of being a mom. It makes me realize that I have made choices that I have learned from and made me stronger. Every imperfection is God’s way of making me perfect.

I did…….and it broke! does any one know where I can get a new un-breakable mirror? Seriously this is a humbling and thought provoking exercise and I would suggest we do this regularly to keep us centered…..

Painful! but yes, it’s thought provoking as Gray said..
