Recently a subscriber, Doug Dean, commented that everything he learned cost him money. In business, when we make a mistake, or just aren’t doing it right yet, it costs us money. This is your education, paid for in full – don’t waste it.
How many times do you want to repeat the same course before getting better and profiting from what you know? Sure, we had to make mistakes to REALLY learn, but making them again is foolish.
You and your team act in the marketplace. You are responsible for this action. The marketplace gives you feedback. Ignore it at your expense.
Two of my favorite quotes about mistakes are “Success does not consist in never making mistakes but in never making the same one a second time.” by George Bernard Shaw and of course Albert Einstein “Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new.” NOW I have 3! Thanks Larry, great stuff!
Hello back at you Larry! Lesson learned from past mistakes is; while working, remember to take the time to be with your loved ones before they’re gone! Snuggling my brand new 1st granddaughter right now.. worth every penny I’m “losing” today. Don’t ask me how I know this.
