Selling your business – Follow-up #1

Larry Janesky: Think Daily

Lots of comments on my recent post where I commented that most selling of businesses around me were, in my opinion, giving up, and abdicating to someone else.

If you own a job, including you and a handful of helpers, it’s not a business that works without you; it’s a job  If you are aging, tired or worn out and lost interest, moving on in some fashion is not selling.  It’s just a personal decision about what you want to do with your days.

I do not advocate never quitting something you do not like.  We all move on to the next chapter.  It makes sense, as the next chapter can be better than this one….

Well spoken, thats. response is the reminder why i read your blog when i get up every morning. Somethings need context and clarification your not afraid to stand behind or back down n reevaluate if needed. Perfect example of not knowing what you dont know moments that require us to question without being offended by new information
