No, it does not always make it right, although some people figure that it is legal and that they have the “right” to do it. This is when it comes to making ethical decisions and keeping your own conscious clear with the decisions you make to do something, and saves unwanted anxiety and stress in the future when someone discovers the questionable thing that you have done. I always believe what goes around comes around.

Depends on what rights we are talking about. In general I believe rights do supersede subjective feelings.

Of course extra-legal ethics matter. But, there are certain business considerations to be made too. There are definitely some debatable laws and regulations on the books beyond the scope of labor, consumer, or environmental protection.
