Being appreciated

Larry Janesky: Think Daily

“The deepest principle of human nature is the craving to be appreciated.” – William James

Is this true in your life?  It is true in others as well.  How do you leave people feeling?  Do they feel you appreciate them?  The fastest way to be appreciated is to appreciate others.

Try it.

Say the words “I appreciate you” with sincerity and a smile.  Go around all day today telling people “I appreciate you”.  Give hugs, or a touch on the shoulder, and tell people you are glad they are in your life.

See what happens….

Bradley Glazer

I appreciate you and your effort to make this world and all of us better!!

And we appreciate you Larry for making each day of our lives beautiful. In some cases though when we appreciate others the other party doesn’t accept it due to their own issues they are having and aren’t getting the meaning it was intended to be.

Mike Mitchell

I appreciate you for the daily words of wisdom and the many other excellent things that you do!

Patricia Villers

I also appreciate you, Larry, and the thought-provoking words you share.

Joe Gerolami

In today’s society we must be very careful when it comes to appropriate “touching and or hugging” You just never can be too careful. Words are equally good to share your feelings.

Just trying to being socially correct.

Chris

I appreciate all that you do to help improve the lives of others. I often tell my wife I appreciate her. I think if I put my hand on the shoulder of some of my co-workers and told them I appreciate then I might get punched in the ribs. Ha!
