Try it and ask “Can you help me in any way?”
Often they have resources, experience, contacts and tools to help you. Ask. The worst they can say is “I don’t think so but good luck”.

Constantly when talking to my suppliers I hear the phrase “we’re going to keep using what we’ve always used/done before. The free market does not exist if you do not constantly try to innovate and look at all options available. If you can buy the same quality at a lesser cost, do it!, The only thing you chance to lose is more market share you would of lost anyways by doing nothing
