Buy tickets for an event, a show, a game, a concert, a play, etc. Make it a different kind of event than you normally go to. Buy more tickets than you usually would. 6….8….10.
Invite some friends. Maybe a little different mix. Then go. Have fun.
Your world – opened a little more, and memories made.
Good morning CT ! Beautiful morning in Chicago! Did the ticket thing with some of our team players Sunday…went to a outdoor concert ! ( big and loud hair band …I’m just hoping I don’t look like some of those attendees:))
Just celebrated my 70th in great form – my husband gave me tickets to a Blue Jays game in Toronto (2.5 hr plane ride from here), tickets to the theatre to see “Come from away,” about Gander hosting the 911 plane passengers,, and tickets to Bruno Mars!!! How’s that for stepping out!
Did that. Going Sunday to see Cirque du Soleil and create memories for another generation. Gotta schedule fun in and make it a priority. Sometimes, it gets away from me
Good advice. I also believe small business owners should listen to their employees plans. If you have a top producer taking his wife to a KISS concert at the Webster Bank Arena, you should offer to pay for those tickets or at least buy the employee dinner for him and his wife prior to the show. Our owner did neither of these and I think these types of gestures go a long ways.
I am available for the next event. 😉
