When you are trying to network with others and build relationships, don’t be a taker. Give first and give often. Don’t be a fair-weather friend, just showing up when you want something. Don’t beat your chest too much, make phony promises, or play the short game.
Give more than you’ll ever take – and they’ll remember you.
This is so true. Relationships are intentional and good relationships are worth the investment of time and energy to establish and maintain them.
