Today a business owner shared a story of the few years of hardship they had with me. All kinds of problems – you know – and all at the same time. Well, as I was listening, I think we both knew that this person was the cause of it all.
In my career, when I had problems (and if your pushing for growth, (or not) who doesn’t), I could trace all of them upstream to an action, neglect, or often a decision(s) I made. We try. We have good intentions. But sometimes the feedback for two years worth of mistakes comes in one week, and it’s a bad week.
All we can do is learn from it and use what we have learned to be better. In the end, it’s who we become that matters. Hard lessons, even though we don’t like them at the time, do make us better.
Wow! Never thought about it that way..when I think back it makes sense. Like you say “ The future is a series of now’s“…Wish I would have learned that 25 yrs ago !
Oh…great picture in heading today ! In a crazy world, that sure brings peace:)
Clarity is nice!
Thx
🙂 The many years spent with you at your training’s have taught me to accept this fact that we are the creators of our lives, good and bad. It truly is empowering to accept this even when it’s bad.
