Not enough sleep? I bet it’s because you get in bed with a device. There are so many rabbit holes to take away your sleep time. Most Americans do not get enough sleep. This leads to stress, poor health, a less enjoyable day, less patience and resilience, and less creative thinking.
A book can be the answer. In my experience, you’ll be asleep before you know it. And if you aren’t, you’ll learn something!
I love to read but you are right, Larry. At night my book becomes anesthesia: ten minutes tops and I’m out!
It changed my life when I figured this out about 4 months ago. I’m amazed at how many books I’ve read.
Great advice.
Ditto on Marsha Allen’s comment. Dropping TV and phone time at night has made all the difference. I set a goal of reading at least two books each month and my non-digital routine has made this possible.
