Something from nothing

Larry Janesky: Think Daily

An entrepreneur creates something that was not there before.  They organize components and ingredients in the world to produce a result in a way and place that did not exist before they began.  Consumers are the judge as to whether the product of the entrepreneur’s efforts are valuable and wanted at the given price.

A smart entrepreneur will pay attention to this feedback and continue adjusting the recipe of their enterprise to win the favor of their target audience in a greater way.  It is in this way that consumers win, as entrepreneurs try to best each other in a free market.

The entrepreneur is a risk-taking creator, and if they do not win enough votes, they are eliminated from the game.
