Persistence

Larry Janesky: Think Daily

As children, we were told “can’t you listen?” and “don’t ask me again!” and “you are so stubborn!” But asking, again and again, is the sign of someone who knows how to get what they want in life.

Ask again another way with another offer or more information.

Persist.

Sitting in the waiting room at the prosthetic facility I go to, I noticed a poster that read “I’mpossible”. The individual sported a prosthetic arm and two prosthetic legs. Like him, I too say that nothing is impossible. It took persistence and a lot of questioning as well as trial and error to get to where I am “possible”! Knowing that “i’m possible” all along certainly helped throughout this journey. Where you put the apostrophe makes all the difference!

There are no coincidences.

We always meet the people who we are meant to meet.

All my actions and choices led met to be where I am today. I followed my inner voice which also led me to my highest calling.

At this moment I am where I am supposed to be because there is a lesson I need to learn. It is a form of preparation for what is coming.

My soul is singing as I am looking at the fishes swimming.

I survive the first day at my new job. I was nauseous all weekend because I knew that the new job is not where I am supposed to be.

My nausea disappeared at lunch during the awesome conversation I had with me new employer. He told me about the greatest regret that hunts him to this day, an of body experience he had after falling from a latter, and then he brought up Jesus. My face lite up and I couldn’t help myself but smile at the interesting twist on the conversation. He said he did not believe in him. I just giggled incredulously as I was shaking my head.

I shared my views with him and I also asked him some unusual questions pertaining to the gender of the souls, karma, reincarnation and just spirituality in general. We booth agreed that the conversation we shared is the essence of our meeting.

I reassured him that the day will come when he can make up for his greatest regret of not stopping and helping a young woman who was chased by a group of tugs.

Karma.

Here is the cherry to top of the story. My employers last name is Paradise. LOL. People are awesome and our journeys are amazing.
