The Broadway play Wicked, tells the untold back story of the Wizard of Oz. It has Glinda, the good witch, and Elphaba, the different (green) witch, as unlikely friends. The good witch conforms to popular society, and the “Wicked” witch tries mightily. After realizing she is different and will never “fit in,” Elphaba finally decides to leave them behind to be who she truly is.

Conveniently someone left the exact book in an exchange box and today was the day when it caught my eye and I put my hands on it. Thank You, I wrote with a promise to return it as soon as I get to read it. The strangers note said in exchange for wild animals, well, I do not know about wild but I may become a bit more wicked once I complete the reading ritual.
