Business is a competition. There are winners and losers. When we get started we are not very good at it, and we lose. The important thing is we learn quickly from our losses before we are out of business, so we can win one day.
What have you learned from your latest losses?
Three months ago we lost all of our salespeople. We had some very real and tough choices to make, but we took on the challenge and had the strongest quarter we have ever had by having our most skilled non sales people go out and make sales. We are not only keeping the lights on, we are redefining what success means at our dealership.
