A leader needs to step back, and zoom out a little or a lot, and ask, “What is MOST important now?”
You can’t spend your time and take action on the most important things if you don’t identify what they are.
Each morning ask, “What is most important now for my organization to accomplish our big goals?”
Hi Larry, reading your two daily emails is a highlight of my day! Appreciate you sharing your wisdom! Best, Charlie
Good morning from Chicago! Leaving for CT at noon for the SOE !
“Happy To Be Here” and ” Happy To Be There” 🙂
Definitely agree with this philosophy. Each day I establish my “3 most important” and do everything possible to make sure those are accomplished before spending time on anything else. I like to plan those the day before (not necessarily at the end of the day, but at a time when I can spend some good quality time thinking through what really needs to be accomplished).
Love the blog!
Have you read “Beyond Positive Thinking” by Dr. Robert Anthony? It is an amazing book which is basically a blue print for successfully living your life. I think you would like it.
