You can’t control outcomes at the outset. What you can control is your actions and behaviors that lead to outcomes.
What can you control that causes what you want?
For a long time I allowed things that were out of my control to dictate the direction of my life. Today, I recognize now that the actions I choose today not only determine the quality of my day, but have a ton of impact on the options I will have later on. My actions and choices right now are something that I CAN control. We can’t control the “unknowns”. What we can do is reduce the odds of bad things happening, improve the odds of good things happening, and improve our chances of being able to handle whatever life throws our way.
I’m controlling what I want now, and what I want is inner peace and happiness.
