Don't forget where you came from

One big reason high achievers may not be happy is that although they have achieved a level of success, they keep comparing where they are to perfection.  This perfection is an ideal that may never be attainable, or at least it’s far off.

Looking forward is a strength, but can be trouble when deciding when to be happy.

Instead, compare where you are and what you have achieved to where you started.  It’s easy to be happy when you do.
