There are two opposing philosophies –
1) The collectivist/socialist idea of “from each according to his ability, to each according to his need”.
2) “Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness”; each individual’s fundamental moral right to his own life.
The first is the dead hand of socialism, that guts the spirit of man. The second, the cause of freedom, that brings the best out of man.
Which do you believe in?
As time passes we have a more controlled government and more rules , more payments for these rules and less and less freedom . As a country we see we are not free to pursue our own liberties without terrific limitations . I for one am opposed to a surpressive world .
Give me what our forefathers wanted and made
Freedom is the Cause!
A believe in a situational combination of the two. Let the leaders lead but keep the followers healthy, fed and housed if they work.
Number 2 for sure! Individual freedom is what made us great. However, if we want to enjoy freedom, there is concomitant responsibility.
“Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness”
How can I get to Mulligans Valley? aka Galt’s Gulch?
I would say free enterprise!
Have a great day!
