Ask your customer what they want and what your company can do better.

Ask your employees why they do it that way, what could be better, and what do they need to do their jobs well. 

Leaders should not assume they understand the problem or situation they are trying to improve.  By asking, a leader can focus decisions and resources on a the REAL issues that hold progress back.
