Zero Sum Thinking

Larry Janesky: Think Daily

This is the idea that a gain for me is a loss for someone else.  It’s scarcity thinking – that there is not enough to go around.  But it’s wrong.

If we wish for our neighbors to have less, will that help us have more?  Or would we rather live in a prosperous neighborhood? How about at work?  Don’t we wish everyone does well?  How about nations?  Will it help us if other nations are prosperous or poor?

If others around you are doing well, it only helps you do well too.

Mike Mitchell

The abundance mentality is healthy and a great philosophy. It really can and should be win/win.

A rising tide raises all ships, unless you have a hole in the boat.

Thank you for Think Daily, it helps to plug all the holes that would keep us from floating.
