Before you set things right, you have to see things right. But if you see the world, other people and your problems through a distorted lens, then your decided actions will be skewed and flawed.
Know yourself. Consider other people are right about you. Reflect and be brutally honest with yourself.
Bring your lens into proper focus, and you’ll find yourself making better decisions – that work.
To me, self awareness is the highest form of awareness. It’s much easier to look at others and figure out what they are doing right or wrong. It’s much harder to come to grips with our own foibles and weaknesses. Successful leaders know what they don’t do well and delegate those things to others who possess those skills.
