If we don’t discipline our thinking, we can’t control the results we get.

I have heard it said to empty your mind. I agree that to pull away and get away from distraction is peaceful and helpful durring times of visionary or major decision making processes. I also do this to ask God for his presence to be made known to me. As a general rule I tend to think on good thoughts or listen to information that reinforces my desired belief system. I put up safeguards against corruptable media or bad experiences and information designed to mislead or distract from my purpose. I do this because I do not want those thoughts to turn into a belief system or mindset. As a man thinketh so is he! It comes from a principle rooted in sewing and reaping. If you put good in good comes out. If you put bad in bad comes out. Simple!!!! Only if you believe it’s simple! I only wish it always worked. It’s a battle for control! I personally found strength through a relationship with Jesus Christ!

Larry, your blog is very instructive and it is interesting to read the comments other people posted. Inner work is very important but it is also distructive if not channeled right. Thank you for teaching us about journaling and its bennefits and importance and the fact that not all the thoughts in our heads are not ours but a result of our senses.
