Eventually all the information (what to, how to) gets out there. But some company (leaders) don’t have a culture of learning and changing based on new information, tools, and ideas very quickly. 

Learning faster than your competition, and your group having a culture of doing so, may be the one innovation that keeps you perpetually ahead.
