We need someone to take continued responsibility for _____________ , to be in charge of it on an ongoing basis. This is why it’s important and how it affects the rest of the company. I think you can do this. These are the resources available, this is how you can report results and how often. Will you help me?”
Make your job smaller. Put people in charge of parts of the business.
They want to help – and they can.
I learned 3 times this week that things that I thought I communicated and delegated clearly were not understood/not happening. This is an important message for me to continue to read and try to implement in a different/more successful way. Thanks for the reminder…..again
