How to show testimonials for your business

Larry Janesky: Think Daily

Don’t write “They did a great job and cleaned up well.  Thanks.” – Doris M., Simsbury

That’s so lame!  Right?

Instead, give specifics, tell who they are and make it personal.  You have to ask for these testimonials.  A video is best (everyone has a phone!).  If not, put a photo of the customer with the testimonial.

“I really needed this to go well because I was in trouble.  Tim and his team made it so easy for me.  At first, I was thinking it was too good to be true; the catch had to come any time now.  It never did.  By the end of the project, I  realized I was dealing with true professionals who really cared about what they are doing for me.” – Sharon Melco, VP, Obar Inc., Mt Clemens MI.
